To boost employability of one million youth, UNESCO has launched a Global Skills Academy. This project was unveiled by the organisation on World Youth Skills Day.

The global skills academy will equip one million young persons with employability and resilience skills. It will also help them find jobs during the looming recession when youth employment prospects look bleak.

Free and high-quality online training will be offered by members of the Global Education Coalition.

UNEVOC will match learners with Academy training by leveraging partnerships with over 250 vocational centers located in more than 160 countries. Individuals can also access these trainings independently.
